Baader Classic Ortho 6mm

The Baader Classic Ortho series consists of parfocal eyepieces with a high transmission and contrast in a 52° apparent field of view.

Optical design is of the classic Abbe Orthoscopic type with a triplet field lens and a single plano-convex eye lens, making it a total of merely four glass-air surfaces. The glass material and optical design is the same as that used in the old and now classic Zeiss Jena orthoscopic eyepieces.

The use of multi-coating on the optical surfaces keeps the internal reflections to a minimum and the blackened interior secures good suppression of stray light.
The anodized barrel includes a standard sized filter thread.
